Elliptical alum stone

Alum stone is translucent with a frosted appearance and has an astringent taste. Today, alum is mainly used as a body deodorant and is available as a raw or polished stone, as a powder or as a spray.

Application

As a deodorant: wash with Aleppo soap beforehand, as the alum stone does not mask odours, it prevents them from appearing. Then apply the powder directly to the skin (underarms, feet, etc.).
