The wonderful recipes with our Alepia black soap

For washing dishes or laundry, you will get very good results by using the product neat without adding anything or diluting it; however, below are some good recipes so you can make the most of your black soap:

CLEANING ALL SURFACES

Prepare a solution with 1L of hot water, 1 tbsp. of liquid black soap and 1 tsp. of bicarbonate of soda, then pour it into a spray bottle. Shake before each use.

HOMEMADE WASHING-UP LIQUID

Fill a bottle with a pouring spout with ½ litre of hot water, ½ glass of liquid black soap, ½ glass of white vinegar and 1 tbsp. of bicarbonate of soda, then shake vigorously. The washing-up liquid is ready.

CLEANING WINDOWS

Mix 1L of hot water and 1 tsp. of liquid black soap in a spray bottle. Use a sponge and a squeegee to clean the windows, then dry them with a soft cloth or microfibre cloth.

VEHICLE CARE

Apply a capful of liquid black soap to a sponge to clean the interior of the vehicle, from the dashboard to the leather seats, then rinse. For the exterior, dilute 2 tbsp. of black soap in a bucket of hot water, scrub with a sponge then rinse. Clean the wheel rims with neat black soap and a brush. Finish cleaning with a dry microfibre cloth to make them shine.

METAL OBJECTS

In a large bowl, dilute 4 tbsp. of liquid black soap in 5L of hot water. Soak silver, copper or stainless steel objects for 5 to 10 minutes, drain them then wipe them with a clean cloth to restore their shine.

TILED, TERRACOTTA, WOOD OR LINOLEUM FLOORS

Liquid black soap is perfect for washing, degreasing, nourishing and shining all washable floors. Mix 2 tbsp. of black soap in 5L of hot water, go over with a mop or Spanish broom, then leave to dry without rinsing. To protect terracotta tiles, rub them directly with neat black soap without rinsing.

GREEN PLANTS

Black soap is a natural product that cleans, polishes and protects plants from insects (aphids, scale insects). Simply prepare a mixture with 5 tbsp. of black soap and 1L of hot water in a spray bottle, and leave to cool before use. Spray preferably early in the morning or late in the evening, avoiding sun or rain.

PET OR FARM ANIMALS

Use black soap as a gentle shampoo to make the coat shine and fight parasites. Its mild alkaline pH is perfectly suited to furry animals. Put a small amount of black soap directly on the animal, massage then rinse thoroughly.
