Evening primrose is a plant native to North America, and its first uses date back to the Amerindians who used it as food and poultice. It arrived in Europe by boat in the 18th century and is now cultivated in China, where it is used in Chinese medicine. Also known as "evening primrose" and "night beauty", this biennial flower blooms only at nightfall before closing at dawn.

It owes its multiple virtues to its exceptional content of omega 6. This composition allows it to be very effective in restructuring the epidermis and fighting against skin problems.
