Evening primrose is a plant native to North America, and its first uses date back to the Amerindians who used it as a food and poultice. It arrived in Europe by ship in the 18th century and is now cultivated in China, where it is used in Chinese medicine. Also known as 'evening primrose' and 'night beauty', this biennial flower only blooms at nightfall and closes at dawn.
It owes its many virtues to its exceptional omega 6 content. This composition allows it to be highly effective in restructuring the epidermis and combating skin problems.
